2 MONTHS OLD!

2 months old ...already

my momma is funny...

baby john tyler,

2 months already! you are growing and growing..way too fast for mommy and daddy. you love to lie down and get your diaper changed. you will just smile and talk to us...you also like standing on your feet...guess its almost time to get you an activity center. you love bath time too..

well i better go for now, you are wanting some attention. i think your lil belly has been hurting. dr. told me to give you rice in every bottle to help for acid reflux but that mean ole stuff is mean to your tummy. you know what..we just may go take a bath!

7 weeks tomorrow...

John Tyler will be 7 weeks tomorrow....ahh!!

I miss him being so tiny..but I must admit he gets more fun by the day. He is smiling and cooing. He loves for you to make sounds. He loves to swing and stare at the fish mobile, he loves to just lay on his back and look around.

these are some of my favorites from the past month or so...

Sweet baby,
mommy is so happy she gets to stay at home for another 6 weeks with you. 6 weeks is just not long enough. plus you were just starting to smile and talk to me...you melt my heart every day. i love to just hold you and give you tons of sweet kisses. i pray the next 6 weeks are wonderful! i love loving you!

The photos below were taken on December 24, 2009 and John Tyler was 8 days old.
He is so sweet! We love him so much! I didn't realize how much love I had in my heart to give until he was born. Oh, how I loved his smell. I loved to give him kisses and still do! We are so blessed to have him in our life.

Dear Sweet Boy,
we love you and are so thankful for the blessing you have been. you were so easy on mommy the 9 months she was pregnant with you and you have remained that way. you go to sleep on your own - after your swaddled of course- and you wake up once in the middle of the night to eat and then you go back down on your own. you have been doing that since 3 weeks. mommy is so glad she read the book -baby wise!
we thank the Lord daily for your health, your beautiful, perfect little self, your smile, and your wonderful sleep schedule...we couldn't have it any better.
